Book Club

The Book Club has proved to be a great new League institution. In addition to having a good time and meeting new people, we’ve learned a lot of history (Mayflower by Nathaniel Philbrick), current events (The Places In Between by Rory Stewart), and outstanding people (The Half-Life of a Zealot by Swanee Hunt). On the lighter side, we read a hilarious memoir of growing up in the 50’s (The Life and Times of the Thunderbolt Kid by Bill Bryson).

Non-members are welcome to join us.

Upcoming books:

June - Cape Wind by Wendy Williams & Robert Whitcomb

July & August - Team of Rivals by Doris Kearns Goodwin
